Getting the car home

Most cars sold on LMNM travel on a truck. LMNM does not operate trucks; it arranges the move. Two ways are below - a price from LMNM Shipping on the vehicle page, and a white-glove broker who quotes you directly. Any licensed carrier of your own choosing works too.

LMNM Shipping

A price on every vehicle page

Enter your ZIP on a vehicle page for a door-to-door price from where the car is, on an open or an enclosed trailer. A licensed transportation provider and an independent carrier move the car; LMNM does not operate trucks. A price on a vehicle page is an estimate for that ZIP and trailer, not a booking. The final price depends on the exact pickup and delivery details. Instant prices are for a car that runs and is standard size; a car that does not run, or is oversized or a specialty vehicle, is priced by hand.

Shipping estimates are on: enter your ZIP on any vehicle page. Online booking is coming soon. To arrange transportation using your estimate, contact LMNM.

Dispatch Dudes · White Glove Service

Dispatch Dudes is a nationwide auto transport broker LMNM has worked with. A person arranges the pickup, the carrier and the delivery with you - the option when the car, the timing or the distance needs a human on the phone.

That opens Dispatch Dudes’s own website. That quote, and any carrier you find yourself, is between you and them.

How to ship

Three steps, in the order they usually happen.

  1. 1

    Get an estimate

On the vehicle page, enter your ZIP: the car’s own location is already known, and an estimate appears for an open or an enclosed trailer. It is an estimate, not a booking: the final price depends on the exact pickup and delivery details. A car that does not run, or an oversized truck, is priced by hand. An estimate that goes out of date before an auction ends says so; ask again nearer the end.

  2. 2

    Arrange the pickup

Once the sale is confirmed and the seller is ready to release the car, arrange the pickup with the seller. Online booking is coming soon. To arrange transportation using your estimate, contact LMNM. Or book with Dispatch Dudes or a licensed carrier of your own.

  3. 3

    Hand over and receive

Photograph the car at pickup and at delivery, and note any damage on the bill of lading before you sign. Keep the paperwork.

Who arranges it, and who you pay

The buyer usually arranges transport, once the price is agreed and the seller is ready to release the car. Online booking is coming soon. To arrange transportation using your estimate, contact LMNM. Or book with Dispatch Dudes or a carrier of your own, and pay them. Get your shipping price before the auction ends or before you agree a price for the car, so the total is no surprise.
