Low Miles No Miles, LLC ("LMNM") respects the rights of copyright owners and expects members to do the same. This Copyright Policy is part of the Low Miles No Miles Terms of Use. It explains how to tell us about content on the Service that you believe infringes your copyright, and how members can respond. It follows the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
1. Our designated agent
Send copyright notices and counter-notices to LMNM's designated agent. The agent is registered in the U.S. Copyright Office's DMCA Designated Agent Directory (dmca.copyright.gov), Registration No. DMCA-1081375.

2. How to send a copyright notice
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature, or that of a person authorized to act for the copyright owner;
- identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed, or, if several works are covered by one notice, a representative list;
- identification of the material you believe is infringing, with enough information for us to find it, such as the web address of the listing and which photo or text;
- your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
If your notice leaves out some of these items but identifies the work, the material and how to contact you, we will try to contact you to complete it.
3. What we do when we receive a notice
When we receive a notice that meets these requirements, we will promptly remove or disable access to the material, notify the member who posted it, and give that member a copy of the notice and information about how to send a counter-notice. We keep a record of each notice and what we did.
4. How to send a counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or because it was misidentified, you may send a counter-notice to our designated agent that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and telephone number; and
- a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which LMNM may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or that person's agent.
When we receive a valid counter-notice, we will send a copy to the person who sent the original notice and tell them we will restore the material in 10 business days. We will restore it between 10 and 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice, unless our designated agent first receives notice that the person who sent the original notice has filed a lawsuit to restrain the member from the infringing activity.
5. Misrepresentations
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. If you are not sure whether content infringes your rights, consider talking to a lawyer before sending a notice.
6. Repeat infringers
LMNM terminates, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of members who are repeat infringers. We keep a record of notices against each account. We may restrict or close an account after repeated valid notices, taking into account counter-notices and whether a notice was withdrawn or found to be mistaken, and we may refuse to let a member whose account was closed for repeat infringement open a new account.
7. Content LMNM creates
Some auction descriptions and social media posts are written or published by LMNM using photos and information that sellers and dealers provide. If you believe any of that content infringes your copyright, the same process applies, and we will also look into how the content was provided to us.
8. Other complaints
This policy covers copyright. For complaints about trademarks, privacy, the unauthorized posting of intimate images, or other rights, contact support@lowmilesnomiles.com or, for legal matters, legal@lowmilesnomiles.com. We handle requests to remove intimate images shared without consent as a priority, and within the time the law requires.
9. Changes
LMNM may change this policy. Each version has a version name and an effective date.
