About
Where the miles matter.
Low Miles No Miles is a marketplace and a community for vehicles that have barely been driven: the ones kept in a garage, under a cover, with the paperwork in the glovebox, while the miles piled up on everything else.
It started with a question
In 2023, after another week of searching the usual sites for a genuinely low-mileage car and coming up short, the question was simple: why is there no dedicated place for these? The answer that week was a Facebook group called Low Miles No Miles. It reached ten thousand members in a few weeks, then a hundred thousand, then far more, and cars started selling within hours of being posted. The group is still there, and it is still the heart of this community.
A community that size needed a proper home: one place to list a car, to bid on one, to keep the history of a car across every time it changes hands. That is this site. The classifieds came first; the auctions followed; and both now live under one roof, run by the same team with the same standard.
Detroit roots
The people behind LMNM grew up in the car business in the Detroit area, around a family dealership that spent decades finding and selling low-mileage and specialty vehicles across Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. More than thirty-five years of that work sits behind every part of this site: what a clean car looks like up close, what the paperwork should say, what a fair deal is, and how to treat the person on the other side of it.
The Motor City is where this started, and it is still where it is run from.
What belongs here
Mileage matters here, but the odometer does not tell the whole story. What makes a car belong here is the whole record: preservation, originality, documentation, condition and history. That is as true of a delivery-mileage modern classic as it is of a time-capsule sedan, an honest survivor truck, or an ordinary car that somehow escaped ordinary use.
- Delivery-mileage and collector cars. The factory-original modern classics and the investment pieces that never got driven.
- Time capsules. Everyday cars that were put away and kept: the ones that make you look twice because nothing like them survives.
- Survivors and trucks. Vehicles that were used, respected and kept original, with the miles to prove the care rather than the neglect.
- The ordinary made rare. A sedan, a wagon, a minivan with almost nothing on the clock. Rarity is not only about the badge.
LMNM is for vehicles driven unusually little for their age - ordinary cars, trucks, vans and SUVs as much as collector cars. The standard is 1,000 miles a year plus an allowance for the vehicle's decade, with a 100,000-mile ceiling and a minimum age of 3 model years.
Every listing is looked at by the LMNM team before it appears. That is a review of what was submitted, not a guarantee of the car; how it works has the detail, and buying and selling safely says what to check yourself.
What makes a LMNM vehicle
Driven far less than its age would suggest. Every era, not just the exotic ones.
A 1990s pickup with 20,000 miles belongs here as much as a delivery-mile supercar. LMNM asks every vehicle the same question: how far has it gone, and how long has it been around?
The standard is mileage against age
About 1,000 miles a year plus an allowance for the vehicle’s decade, with a 100,000-mile ceiling. A vehicle meets it, gets an editorial look, or sits outside it, and its record says which.
A person reviews it first
The LMNM team reads every submission and every dealer listing. The mileage is on every card, and a listing that can’t state its mileage says so.
Kept, not just old
Everything here was put away and looked after: garaged, documented, original. Some are collector cars. Many are ordinary cars, trucks and motorcycles somebody never got around to putting miles on.
The community today
Most of LMNM still happens in public, on Facebook and Instagram, where a listing worth talking about gets talked about. The team shares selected cars, results and stories from the marketplace there, and what it posts is its own choice: no plan or placement buys a post, not every listing is posted to social, and nothing here promises that one will be.

What LMNM does, and does not
LMNM introduces buyers and sellers and runs the auction. It does not take possession of a car, does not hold the price, and is not a party to the sale. Where the words and photographs come from depends on the listing: a private classified is written and photographed by the seller; a dealer’s inventory arrives from the dealership; an auction’s write-up is written by the LMNM team from what the seller provides and what the team finds.
