1990 Ford F-150

This is my 1990 Ford F-150, which I purchased in 2024 through the LMNM Facebook group. A gentleman had listed the truck for sale, and I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to purchase it. Having bought it sight unseen, I had the truck shipped all the way home from Georgia. It was a great experience from start to finish, and I couldn't be happier with how it all worked out! When I purchased the truck, it was 100% stock, and I loved it that way. After my first season of ownership, though, I started getting the itch to make a few changes. The goal was to give it my own personal touch while keeping things clean, classy, and true to the original character of the truck. I didn't want to overdo it or take away from what made this F-150 special in the first place. I decided to go with a 3/5 lowering kit paired with a set of 20-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels. To finish things off, I had a Flowmaster dual exhaust system installed, complete with tips that, in my opinion, maintain that subtle, factory-style appearance. The result is a truck that stands out without trying too hard. What makes this F-150 even more interesting is how it was originally ordered. It's an incredibly unique truck that came from the factory without many of the options most people might expect, including air conditioning, tilt steering, carpet flooring, power options, a second fuel tank, and more. According to the Marti Report, this particular combination of options makes it a one-of-one truck. That's a pretty special detail, especially for a truck that's already over three decades old! I've really enjoyed owning this truck and finding the right balance between originality and tasteful modifications. It's not every day you come across a classic F-150 with such a unique factory configuration, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to bring this one home. Lately, I've been considering letting it go, and it may end up crossing the auction block with Low Miles No Miles in the near future. Nothing is set in stone just yet, but if it does, I hope the next owner enjoys it as much as I have. For now, I'm just happy to have been part of this truck's story and to have had the chance to own such a unique piece of Ford truck history.
