From the seller
1978 Lincoln Continental Town Coupe – 460 V8 – 11,800 Miles
For sale is this 1978 Lincoln Continental finished in Bronze over a matching Bronze interior and showing just 11,800 miles. This full-size luxury coupe retains the long, formal styling that defined Lincoln during the late 1970s, including its prominent grille, concealed headlights, expansive interior, and traditional rear-deck Continental design.
Power comes from a 460-cubic-inch V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Measuring more than 19 feet long, this generation of Continental represented the final years of Lincoln’s truly full-size luxury cars before the model was substantially downsized for the 1980s.

Before you buy
- See it. Ask the seller and arrange a viewing in Messages, or reach the dealership by the details it chose to show. Only the two of you can read a message.
- Have it inspected. A pre-purchase inspection by a mechanic you choose, before you commit. LMNM doesn’t arrange inspections yet and doesn’t inspect the vehicles it lists.
- Deal in the open. Keep the conversation on LMNM, see the title and the VIN on the vehicle before money moves, and pay in a way you can trace, to a seller you’ve verified.
