Description: the full story
There are Low Miles No Miles trucks…and then there are the ones that represent the end of an era. This 1999 GMC Yukon 1500 4X4 falls into that category, showing just 17,063 miles and standing as an incredibly preserved example of the final year of the GMT400 OBS Yukon.
Vehicle Overview
Finished in black over a rare burgundy interior, this Yukon is powered by its original 5.7L Vortec V8 paired with a 4L60E automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. The odometer currently shows 17,063 miles, and the truck remains 99.9% original throughout.
As the last model year of the GMT400 platform, this Yukon represents the end of the OBS generation known for its simplicity, durability, and unmistakable styling. Finding one in this condition, with this mileage, is exceptionally difficult.
Story
According to the seller, this Yukon was elderly owned and garage kept, a key factor in its preservation. Rather than being used as a daily driver or work vehicle, it was kept and driven sparingly.
The current owner has added approximately 300 miles, continuing the trend of minimal use.
Most of these trucks lived hard lives used for hauling the family, winter driving, and everyday use. This one didn’t.
Condition
As expected for a well-preserved example, the truck presents exceptionally well throughout. The exterior retains its original paint with no reported history of bodywork, while the interior shows to be virtually like new condition with minimal wear consistent with the miles.
The vehicle is reported to be completely rust-free and has no known mechanical issues. It runs and drives as it should.
Recent service completed within the past week includes an oil change, pitman arm replacement, tie rod ends, and sway bar bushings, ensuring the truck is mechanically sorted.
Overall, this is a highly original, well-maintained example of a platform that is becoming increasingly hard to find in this condition.

Letter From The LMNM Team
This is one that really checks all the boxes.
We’re big fans of the GMT400 platform, and this is about as good as it gets. Final year, ultra-low miles, and still wearing everything the way it should.
What stands out right away is the color combo. Black over burgundy just feels right on these and you don’t see it often.
But more than that, it’s the condition. These trucks were built to be used, and most of them were. Finding one that still presents like this is getting harder and harder.
It’s simple, it’s honest, and it’s exactly what made these trucks so good in the first place.

Thanks all!! Super stoked

Attached are numerous photos of the underbody. As you can see, the frame and suspension components are very solid. There is some surface rust present, but there is absolutely no rot anywhere. The floorboards and wheel wells are in excellent condition and are nearly perfect. You may notice that the bump stops are currently missing. At the time these photos were taken, the new bump stops had not yet been installed. They will be installed prior to pickup. Best, Nick
Beautiful truck could you post some underneath photos? Looking for frame, axles and floor boards
Hello everyone and welcome to the no reserve auction of my 1999 GMC Yukon with just 17,000 original miles. This is an all original example that is an extremely great condition all the way around. I have dealt with many low mileage vehicles and it is easy to tell when one has been Garage kept. Every molding around the truck, looks brand new. The paint shines beautifully and there are no areas where anything has damage damaged the clear coat. The interior is absolutely spotless the seats the dash all of the buttons are in perfect condition. This is an exceptional example of 1990s GM. If you want to own, one of the cleanest 99 Yukon this is certainly the one to own Thank you everyone for following along and best of luck with the auction.
