Hello everyone and thank you for checking out this awesome 1988 Corvette 35th anniversary edition. This is car #578 of 2050 built that year. This Corvette was sold new from Tom Bell Chevrolet of Redlands California. The original owner purchased the car new and drove it 28 miles to put in his collection in Yucaipa California. The car remained in the collection with 28 miles until 2016 when it was sold to the second owner. The second owner kept the car untouched until 2024 when he had the local Chevy dealer in Macedon, New York completely go through the car resulting in an invoice totaling $9200. This car runs, drives and performs as good as it looks. Everything is 100% functioning correctly. Completely original paint, original interior, 2 tops, and brand new Michelin tires. A perfect car to add to any Corvette collection, completely sorted and ready to enjoy. I will be available throughout the auction for any questions. Thanks for looking and Good luck bidding.
Description: the full story
There are Low Miles No Miles cars…and then there are cars that were set aside from the very beginning. This 1988 Chevrolet Corvette 35th Anniversary Edition falls into that category, showing just 386 miles and standing as an exceptionally preserved example of one of the most recognizable C4 Corvettes ever produced.
Vehicle Overview
Finished in its signature triple white configuration white exterior, white interior, and white wheels this Corvette is powered by its original 5.7L Tuned Port Injected V8 paired with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The odometer currently shows just 386 miles, and the car remains 100% stock and original aside from replacement tires.
As a 35th Anniversary Edition, this model represents a special chapter in Corvette history, with just 2,050 examples produced. This particular car is numbered #578 of that production.
Story
This Corvette has been collector owned since new, passing through a small number of enthusiasts who recognized its significance and preserved it accordingly.
Rather than being driven, it was kept as a display-quality example for most of its life. The most recent owner had plans to begin enjoying the car more regularly and sent it to a Chevrolet dealership for a comprehensive service.
That service included a full fluid refresh, new tires, and updates to the audio system components, with a total investment exceeding $9,000 ensuring the car is properly sorted while maintaining its originality.
Condition
As expected for an ultra-low-mile example, the car presents in exceptional condition throughout. The exterior retains its original paint with no reported history of bodywork, while the interior remains remarkably well-preserved.
The vehicle is reported to be completely rust-free and has no known mechanical issues. It runs and drives as it should following its recent comprehensive service.
Overall, this is a highly original, collector-grade example that has been carefully preserved and recently recommissioned for continued enjoyment.

Letter From The LMNM Team
This is one of those cars that feels more like a time capsule than anything else.
The triple white Anniversary cars have always stood out, but finding one with this kind of mileage is something else entirely. It’s the kind of car that was recognized early on as something to keep and that’s exactly what happened here.
This Corvette gives off that Miami vibe bright, bold, and unapologetically 80s. It’s the kind of look that doesn’t blend in anywhere.
What we like about this one is that it hasn’t just been stored it’s been properly gone through and brought back to where it should be. The recent service gives it a level of confidence while still keeping everything that makes it special intact.
Cars like this aren’t about chasing miles or performance they’re about preserving a moment in time. And this one does that as well as you’ll find.

Interesting. I am the previous owner of this car. Curious to see if somebody makes a deal after the auction. I’m not familiar with this site- do they encourage high bidder to continue discussions with the seller?
We are down to the final hour ! Get your bids in ! There is no need to wait to the final seconds because the clock will reset and give everyone another minute to bid. I wanted to let bidders know that I have several transporters that I deal with, and I will help arrange shipping if needed. This is a great opportunity to own one of the best 35th Anniversary Editions. Good Luck bidders.
Good Morning everyone. I would like to thank everyone for the bids so far. Obviously, the bidding has a ways to go to meet the reserve.
