The block was fully reconditioned and bored 0.030-inch over. The crankshaft was turned and the connecting

rods were reconditioned. Installed new pistons, piston rings, and all new cam bearings. The engine was

reassembled with clearances and tolerances set to the correct specifications.

After receiving the engine back, installed a complete BTR Stage 2 (Red Hot) cam kit, including a BTR Red Hot

camshaft, BTR dual.660 valve springs on the freshly resurfaced 241 cylinder heads, new BTR valve seals, BTR

pushrods, and BTR head gaskets. Installed customer-supplied ARP head bolts and a customer-supplied Melling

oil pump, along with a new oil pan gasket and new rear main seal.

Installed a 3,000-3,200 RPM stall torque converter and customer-supplied Speed Engineering long-tube

headers with a 3-inch true-dual exhaust system and X-pipe routed all the way out the rear.

Reinstalled the engine, topped off all required fluids, started and ran the engine, and checked operation. The

vehicle was tuned by Strong Speedworks. Completed final checks and verified proper engine operation.

$7,800 shop bill for engine build and tuning. I do have receipts in glove box.
