From the seller
1987 Chevrolet Camaro Sport Coupe LT, RPO code 1SC with less than 17,000 actual miles. Rarely optioned survivor, one of 794 LT models and built during the last month of operation of the Norwood Assembly Plant in Ohio, August, 1987 (#182107 of 185824). Dealer ordered D60 color override red on red with black stripes, LG4 5.0 305 4-barrel, Deluxe Interior, Sport Mirrors, Split Folding Rear Seat, Power Assisted Rear Hatch, Body Side Moldings, analog instrument cluster and more. The LT replaced the Berlinetta model in 1987 and interestingly they used a left over Berlinetta front license plate holder on this one. Purchased new from El Dorado Chevrolet of McKinney Texas, stored in climate controlled garage and rarely driven, passed on to a family member in 1997 and driven occasionally through 1999 and stored again until 2021. At this point it was refreshed with new fluids, fuel system service and aftermarket wheels/tires and again driven occasionally. Just completed a 3 hour road trip and performed flawlessly, running and driving as intended. This unmolested time capsule is stock aside from the muffler and darker window tint. The original wheels and 1987 date coded tires were installed for the photographs and storage, although not my style the aftermarket set is included (last photo). All accessories with the exception of the by passed heater core work as they should including ice cold air conditioning. The paint looks great, as with any car it would benefit from a professional paint correction, has a few rock chips in front, some road rash on the black lower rockers, crack on the spoiler bottom edge and door panels as shown and the hood strut shocks are weak. Stripes are in great shape, rubber weatherstripping is not rotted, body molding is in good condition and even the power rear latch works. This is most likely the nicest example of a 1987 LT in existence, nicely optioned and being one of the last cars made at the Norwood plant hold some significant historical relevance. VIN 1G1FP21H8HN182107 with clean Carfax included. Time for a new home, $19,500, reasonable offers considered, no trades. Mike 816-786-7740

Before you buy
- See it. Ask the seller and arrange a viewing in Messages. Only the two of you can read it, and nothing on this page gives out a phone number or an address.
- Have it inspected. A pre-purchase inspection by a mechanic you choose, before you commit. LMNM doesn’t arrange inspections yet and doesn’t inspect the vehicles it lists.
- Deal in the open. Keep the conversation on LMNM, see the title and the VIN on the vehicle before money moves, and pay in a way you can trace, to a seller you’ve verified.
