1984 Dodge Caravan

1984 Dodge Caravan, Vista Cruiser Conversion. 38,800 miles. Absolutely stellar van. 2.2L I4 with the 5 speed manual floor mounted transmission. plush full swivel seating. curtains, blinds, ambient lights, Table in the back ready to play checkers. The van is exceptionally clean rust free and never out in the elements. The paint is in excellent condition, all the custom striping was painted with the vista cruiser package. overall this van is exactly the way it came from vita cruiser with some cool period correct additions, fresh out of a JC Whitney catalog like the stainless running boards, curb feelers, CB radio, Cobra Fuzz buster, roof visor, a vintage portable box tv that's included with the sale. Added Carrol Shelby center capped wheels polished 8 hole. The A/C blows cold, it runs and drives out perfect. Replaced carburetor but have the original in the box. this is a one of a kind van that you will not find anywhere else. the story on the van as we came to find out from LMNM Member Wiggzero9: they bought it new in ‘84. Grandpa always said it was the first year of the mini van.

he also had over 50 old motorcycles. When I saw a video a week ago I new the chances of a manual in that color and that low miles it might be theirs but the initials on the doors.

I was born in ‘83. They had a big motor home to took out once a year for a long time. They did take all of us grand kids to Holliday World once a year and I rember taking the van a few times but obviously it was a daily driver. Most of their cars where also manual until it got hard to get manuals. we the selling dealer purchased it recently from the second owner who cared for it the same way and had it in his collection of mopars for quite sometime along side a low mileage Magnum SRT8 we also purcahsed. it's just really cool to know the full history on this awesome van. we love to pay tribute to the ones who preserved a vehicle like this
