There are Low Miles No Miles trucks...and then there are trucks that make you stop scrolling, look twice, and wonder how in the hell something like this even exists.
Well, here you go.
A 1999 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LT 4x4 showing just 49,340 miles, finished in Victory Red over Taupe leather, equipped with a genuine Stillen GTS performance package, and packing a Whipple-supercharged 350 V8 under the hood.
Yes, you read that correctly.
A supercharged, Brembo-equipped, custom-bodied, four-wheel-drive GMT400 Suburban.
And this isn't just an ordinary Suburban with a few aftermarket parts bolted on.
According to the selling dealer, this truck received its Stillen GTS conversion through Stillen in California, complete with an extensive list of performance and appearance upgrades that transformed Chevrolet's full-size SUV into something entirely different.
Add in its reported original-owner history, years spent in a private collection, and exceptional presentation, and you've got the kind of truck that doesn't come around very often.
This is exactly the sort of stuff we love finding.
At its core, this is a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LT 4x4, powered by Chevrolet's 5.7-liter Vortec V8 and paired with an automatic transmission.
But that's about where the similarities to an ordinary Suburban end.
The truck wears the Stillen GTS package, a comprehensive performance and appearance conversion that includes a Whipple supercharger, custom exhaust system, upgraded Brembo front brakes, distinctive ANTERA wheels with Stillen logo center caps, and a collection of color-matched exterior components.
The Victory Red paint is complemented by matching bumpers, wheel flares, mirrors, and door handles, giving the truck a cohesive appearance that feels more like a specialty performance vehicle than a typical aftermarket build.
Stillen-specific details include exterior badging, aluminum door sill plates, a windshield banner, and a rear spoiler.
Inside, the fully equipped LT trim provides Taupe leather upholstery, power-adjustable seats, and a sunroof.
An auxiliary exhaust temperature gauge mounted in the pillar adds another reminder that this is no ordinary family hauler.
It's a fascinating combination of luxury, utility, and late-1990s performance engineering.
The Stillen GTS Package
To understand what makes this Suburban special, you have to understand the company behind it.
Stillen was founded in California in 1986 by professional racing driver Steve Millen, whose career included major successes in motorsports, particularly behind the wheel of Nissan race cars.
The company became widely recognized for its high-performance Nissan and Infiniti products, but its roots actually began in the truck aftermarket.
During the late 1980s and 1990s, Stillen developed an extensive range of performance, handling, braking, and appearance upgrades for trucks and SUVs.
And they weren't afraid to get a little carried away.
While most companies were content selling exhaust systems, wheels, or body kits, Stillen offered more comprehensive performance packages designed to transform the driving experience.
The GTS package represented that philosophy.
Rather than simply making a Suburban look aggressive, the upgrades addressed power, braking, and appearance together.
This example features a Whipple supercharger mounted to the 5.7-liter Vortec V8, providing forced induction to an engine already known for its low-end torque.
A custom exhaust system with headers helps complete the performance package.
Up front, Brembo brake calipers work with upgraded drilled and slotted rotors, while the ANTERA wheels with Stillen logo center caps and color-matched exterior treatment give the truck its unmistakable identity.
The result is a full-size American SUV with the kind of performance hardware you'd expect to find on something considerably smaller and sportier.
And that's precisely what makes it so interesting.
According to the selling dealer, this Suburban was acquired directly from its original owner, who had maintained it as part of a private automobile collection.
The selling dealer purchased this Suburban along with 19 other vehicles from that same collection, making it part of a remarkable group of automobiles that had been carefully accumulated and preserved over the years.
Throughout its life, the truck was reportedly stored indoors and properly maintained, helping explain its unusually low mileage and impressive overall presentation.
The selling dealer believes the truck saw little, if any, exposure to harsh weather, and its clean overall condition is consistent with that reported history.
Unlike so many customized trucks from the 1990s, this Suburban appears to have avoided the usual cycle of heavy use, multiple owners, changing modifications, and eventual deterioration.
Instead, it remained preserved in a collection.
And that's what makes this example so appealing.
Finding an ordinary GMT400 Suburban with this kind of mileage and condition is becoming a challenge in itself.
Finding one with a genuine Stillen GTS conversion, supercharged V8, and reported original-owner collection history takes things to another level.
The original window sticker, owner's manuals, books, and keys accompany the truck.
The selling dealer describes this Suburban as being in excellent overall condition, both inside and out.
The Victory Red exterior has recently received a professional detail and paint correction, resulting in a deep, glossy finish.
The Taupe leather interior presents exceptionally well, with no reported tears in the upholstery.
One of the things we particularly appreciate about this truck is the way its undercarriage has been preserved and presented.
While the underside is very clean and solid overall, it does show some age-related surface rust and oxidation, particularly on suspension components, driveshaft and the rear axle.
The selling dealer has made no attempt to disguise these areas with fresh paint, heavy undercoating, or dry ice blasting.
What you see is what you get.
There is some visible rust-colored oxidation, but the undercarriage remains very presentable for its age, with no body rust reported by the selling dealer.
Rather than attempting to make a 27-year-old truck look artificially new underneath, the selling dealer has left everything visible for prospective buyers to inspect.
Detailed undercarriage photographs are included in the gallery so bidders can evaluate the condition for themselves.
Recent mechanical work includes a new set of Hankook tires, replacement front-end components including tie rods and the pitman arm, a new fuel injection spider assembly, fuel pump, and intake gasket.
Fresh fluids have also been installed.
According to the selling dealer, the Suburban runs and drives exceptionally well, with strong performance from the supercharged V8 and no reported running issues.
The truck has been prepared with the intention of offering a well-sorted example that can be enjoyed rather than simply admired.
Okay, this is ridiculous.
And we mean that in the absolute best way possible.
We've been around a lot of GMT400 trucks over the years.
Silverados, Tahoes, Suburbans, 454 trucks, low-mile survivors, special editions. You name it.
But this thing?
This is on an entirely different level.
A Victory Red, Whipple-supercharged, Brembo-equipped, Stillen GTS Suburban with 49,000 miles?
Come on.
This is the kind of vehicle that makes us remember why we love the 1990s automotive aftermarket so much.
There was a time when companies weren't afraid to do something completely outrageous.
You had Callaway building wild Corvettes and Camaros.
Saleen turning Mustangs into something special.
And Steve Millen's company was taking its racing knowledge and applying it to vehicles that nobody in their right mind would have expected to become performance machines.
Like a full-size Chevrolet Suburban.
Think about how absurd that idea must have sounded in 1999.
Take one of the largest family SUVs on the road.
Add a Whipple supercharger.
Throw some Brembo brakes on it.
Give it a custom exhaust, ANTERA wheels, color-matched body, and a bunch of Stillen badging.
Then send it out into the world.
We absolutely love it.
And what makes this one even cooler is that somebody apparently had the foresight to preserve it.
Most trucks like this were driven, modified, beaten on, and eventually worn out.
This one spent its life in a collection.
The selling dealer actually acquired it alongside 19 other vehicles from the same original owner's collection, and judging by its overall presentation, this Suburban received plenty of attention over the years.
And look at the color combination.
Victory Red over Taupe leather.
It's about as late-1990s Chevrolet as you can get, but with the Stillen treatment, it takes on a completely different personality.
We love the details.
The matching bumpers and flares.
The ANTERA wheels with Stillen logo center caps.
The aluminum sill plates.
The pillar-mounted exhaust temperature gauge.
And, of course, that Whipple sitting on top of the 350.
Everywhere you look, there's something that reminds you this isn't an ordinary Suburban.
It's also refreshing to see the underside hasn't been buried under a fresh layer of black paint or undercoating to make everything look artificially new.
There's some surface rust on the suspension components and rear axle.
It's a 27-year-old truck. That's not exactly surprising.
But nobody has gone underneath it with a spray gun and coated everything black. Nobody has dry ice blasted it to create the appearance of a freshly restored vehicle.
It's simply a clean, solid-looking, well-preserved GMT400 with its age-related imperfections visible for everyone to see.
We'd much rather see an honest undercarriage like this than one that's been completely covered up.
Here's the other thing.
We genuinely don't know when we'll see another one like this.
We aren't going to throw around made-up production numbers or claim it's the only one ever built.
But how many genuine Stillen GTS Suburbans do you see?
Now how many of those are Victory Red, supercharged, four-wheel-drive examples with fewer than 50,000 miles showing?
Exactly.
The GMT400 generation has already developed an enormous following, and we've watched interest in clean, original trucks continue to grow.
But this one isn't simply another clean GMT400.
It's a piece of the performance aftermarket's history.
A time when companies were willing to take an already great American truck and ask a very simple question:
What if we made it completely insane?
And somehow, somebody managed to preserve the result for more than 25 years.
This is the kind of truck we could talk about all day.
The kind of truck that deserves a proper photo shoot.
The kind of truck that makes people who aren't even Suburban enthusiasts stop and pay attention.
We have a feeling this one is going to get people talking.
And quite frankly, that's exactly what Low Miles No Miles is all about.
