The heart of the ZL1 is Chevrolet’s supercharged 6.2-liter LSA V8, factory rated at a whopping 580 horsepower and 556 lb-ft of torque. This example pairs the supercharged V8 with the 6-speed automatic transmission, sending power to the rear wheels.

The ZL1 was much more than a Camaro with a supercharger stuffed under the hood. Chevrolet gave these cars a serious performance package that included Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo brakes, Performance Traction Management, a heavy-duty rear differential and a host of cooling and chassis upgrades designed to make the entire package work together.
