DealerStandard ListingRare 1976 GMC Sierra 1500 “Royal Sierra” pickup truck. Cousin truck to the Chevy Bonanza, this is an end of year package that featured option bundling, along with unique seats, trim, and emblems. Especially with attractive colors like this Yuba Gold & White combination, a Royal Sierra is a terrific way to stand out at a local show. 99.9% rust free, with the 3 MINOR spots showing behind the rear wheel wells, and in front of the driver’s lower fender. Just an absolutely gorgeous, honest truck.
This is a 77,500 mile survivor with what appears to be all original paint. Well-optioned “C” level pickup with a 350, AC, tilt, tinted glass, gauges, and others listed on the SPID. Excellent provenance accompanies this truck as well, including a build sheet, warranty book, decades of registation cards, and many receipts. Notice all the original firewall marks, GM hoses, clamps, and tags on suspension pieces. The undercarriage is just as clean as the rest of the truck, and has been treated with a paraffin wax spray called Boeshield T-9 to keep it preserved. No dumb undercoating materials, just a clear, removeable spray to preserve what’s there.
This pickup starts, runs, accelerates, and drives straight and smooth at highway speeds of 65-70. Cruise it as it sits, and sort out some leaks, replace some rubber components, etc, as you go.
