1986 Chrysler LeBaron Town & Country Turbo Wagon – Ultra Low Mile Time Capsule – 3,900 Original Miles!

This time capsule was in climate controlled storage for three decades with about 1500 original Miles on the odometer.

Back in 1986 a man bought his wife the finest station wagon Chrysler produced, this LeBaron Town & Country TURBO wagon. She only drove it 1500 miles before parking it in the garage when she became ill, and ultimately passed. The car ended up in climate controlled storage at a Chrysler dealer for 30 years. Then during Covid it was brought back to life with a new gas tank, driven a couple hundred miles and ended up on consignment at World Wide Autos in Colorado.

We found it about four years ago while looking for another LeBaron Convertible. After looking at the new condition of this car and having fond memories of the LeBarons of the era, and this probably being the only almost-OEM survivor in existence, we paid a pretty penny for it and shipped it to Georgia. It literally was all original, including the lumpy Goodyear Arriva tires. We replaced the tires, brakes, belts, hoses, fluids… to make it roadworthy. We Also updated the nonworking, but included, radio to the current Sony BT hands-free phone unit, in compliance with George law.

It still has less than 4000 miles on it, having been enjoyed at many local car shows. Even the original Chrysler Air-Temp AC is still blowing cold.
If you want the finest little 80’s Chrysler K-car wagon in existence, this is it.
Museums are welcome, but this car really should be enjoyed.
