1996 DODGE VIPER RT/10 – 8.0L V10 – 20K MILES- BLACK W/ SILVER STRIPES!

This 1996 Dodge Viper is one of 721 RT/10 convertibles produced for the model year and powered by an 8.0-liter V10 paired with a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.  I purchased the car in 2005 as the third owner with just over 16K miles and the milage is 20,176. The bodywork is finished in black with silver stripes, and the interior features original leather seats. Equipment includes a removable soft top, removable hardtop, a removable rear window,  17″ wheels, side windows, air conditioning, an alarm system, and an after market Alpine head unit with CD, JL Audio Center speakers and MB Quart door speakers. and a clean Arizona title.

The body is finished in black with silver racing stripes and a black hardtop. Features include side windows, fog lights, a body-color roll bar, painted side mirrors, and dual center-exit exhaust outlets.

The 8.0-liter V10 was factory rated at 415 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque and drives the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential with aftermarket 3.55.1 gearing.

This has been a great vehicle, but it’s time to pass it on to someone who will appreciate and enjoy it more. My schedule doesn’t leave much time for it, and my kids aren’t interested in the car hobby, so it is time for a new home.
